Bericht zum Start des Pojektes:

Dear Rotarian friends,

I hope you are doing well in these difficult times and that you and your families are healthy and fine.

The new Rotary year has begun and things are already moving quickly.

Last Saturday RI President Jennifer Jones, who is visiting Uganda at the time, "launched" the Kidera project in Kampala:Currently we are collecting - in addition to the Global Grant funding - aid supplies for the Health Center, the Primary School and the Community - poverty and hunger are getting worse in Eastern Africa....

All aid supplies should be shipped to Uganda in a container on 9/19 and should arrive in Mombasa at the end of October/early November.

In November Rtn. Judith Köck (RC Kitzbühel), the two nurses Heidi and Johanna and I will fly to Uganda again to bring the aid supplies to Kidera, we will then also report on the further progress of this GG project.

The project is developing really great, thank you all again for your great help and support!

We have meanwhile received additional donations and will buy additional medical devices directly in Uganda and try to alleviate hunger at least with a warm meal - porridge - at the Primary School for the 1.250 pupils.
